the 31st already?!

Today is the last day of July! Sad to say nothing memorable happened this month. It’s been a dull summer. But next month is August, my 22nd birthday, going back to school…hopefully things will be better in August. The last 2 months have not worked out for me but I’m staying optimistic for August.

Santogold

I love discovering new music. Santogold has been out for a while now and I was lucky enough to stumble upon her music recently. After listening to three tracks on the album, I knew I had to get this cd (it took 3 different stores, but I finally found it at Target)! I think this is one of the few albums I own where I enjoyed all the tracks, not just 2 or 3. I like all of them but I am in love with this song:

My first entry in my new blog on my own domain. This was the result of a bored me on a Friday night. I didn’t put much thought into the name either. I wanted it to be somethingsomethinghang.com, but I thought that was too long. I just wanted a web site. Now that I have it, I don’t know what I’m going to do with it.

Well that was scary

Someone had asked me to take a look at their web site because it needed major help. It was quote “really bad.” How bad could it be? Once on the main page, I started to received messages like ‘New toolbar has been installed!’ followed by random pop ups and then a message saying someone is trying ‘attack’ my computer. Spyware! I hate it! I knew I didn’t chose to DL any toolbars! So $53 later (wasted on Spy Sweeper which dosen’t work), I gave up and restored my computer. I didn’t lose much stuff but the process was very slow and at times I wanted to punch my monitor. Now I am so scared of going to any web site.
