Twilight
Posted on October 31st, 2008

As if I don’t have enough to read already for school, I succumbed to the hype and bought a copy of Twilight. After Twilight, I want to read The Kite Runner and maybe I can start on Angels & Demons again. I started reading it a few years ago but got sidetracked with Harry Potter lol so I hope to start on it again.

My baby!

A short video with pictures of King. It’s a small project for class. I wanted to add some short video clips of him being great but for some reason Windows Movie Maker cannot import .mp4 files. What’s up with that? :/

Barbie
Posted on October 25th, 2008

My cousin brought over her Barbie dolls to play. This brought back memories of when I had my own. I see we have a lot in common, my cousin and I. We both treat Barbies like crap, cut hair and believe it grows back and make a bed for them to sleep in out of washcloth.

more stupid conversations
Posted on October 24th, 2008
My mom has noticed that I’ve lost some weight. When she sees this, she automatically thinks I’m purposely doing it to stay thin. She thinks I’m afraid to be fat. A true example of how much my mom does not know me at all. If she did, she’d know that I do not obsess over body weight. It’s called stress. I’ve also been feeling down on and off so that may have something to do with lost of appetite…but it’s never because of image. I’m so insulted by her comments. I wish she could believe in me a little more than that. But after telling her all that she still insists I’m starving myself so I won’t waste any more energy trying to get her to listen.
I am starting to feel unappreciated in this family. It’s always about the store or my brothers. No one talks to me.

a fit over a dollar
Posted on October 21st, 2008
Today I sat outside reading my book and noticed a man asking people to let him have some money. I knew he was going to come my way and eventually he does make it to my table and asks me to lend him some change. He wants to raise $1.60. I see $0.30 in his hand. I didn’t want to take my wallet out so I reached into my pockets and pulled out a dollar bill and a five. I gave him the dollar bill. He is thankful and then proceeds to asks if I can give him another dollar and he’ll let me have his $0.30. I’m thinking ummmm….what? Are we haggling now? So I politely say no and he gets upset at me and of course people around me see he’s making a big deal about it. That baffles me. First he asks just for some change, “anything, anything at all” and then he wants more. I don’t know whether to just feel sorry he’s even asking or feel slightly annoyed.
