wanted: a spot to study

I’m getting behind in school. Projects and reading assignments are starting to pile up and I can’t keep up. I did get some reading done today (and even better, I actually remember what I read) but because it started raining that made me fall asleep, so there goes 2 hours of time I could have used to study. There’s a lot of distractions around me at home and at school. I can’t seem to find a place for me to be comfortable and focus. I don’t want to go to Starbucks to study–I don’t get how people can go there to study anyhow. I think it’s just a ‘cool’ thing. And being alone in a library won’t help since I tend to fall asleep there. My bedroom is not working either since I always end up cleaning or re-organizing my lipgloss collection.

Or maybe I just need to be more disciplined. I think that’s it. I’m giving up on studying too easily. When brain thinks ‘alright, this shit is boring, time to go on internet’, I listen lol. I need someone to whip me everytime I think about straying away from studying haha.

I’m twenty two, I’m twenty two

There are times when I just feel like I’m in high school again and today was another one of those days when those familiar feelings crept in again. Why, why, WHY do people never sit next to me in any of my classes??? Why do I always get ignored?? Do I offend? Am I intimidating? No and definitely no. LAWD!! I don’t get it. I’m a very nice girl.

My bag weighs a monster

Walking and lugging around this thing is a pain. That notebook dosen’t even fit inside of it.

Got lost 5 times today. 5 times! I paid for that garage parking and I couldn’t even find the entrance to it. Stupid one way streets and me not being familiar with the area got me lost. 5 times! I made the mistake 5 times today! Where is Vine St.???? So I gave up and decided to just park in a public pay lot which was a hassle because I wasn’t prepared with quarters to pay the meter.

That’s all negative. I complain too much. Most of my posts are negative. Here are some positive things today:

I talked to new people in my classes. That’s always nice.
Instructor didn’t call on me in class to answer thinking questions. Pathetic, I know, but he intimidates me so much.
Played with roly-poly/pill bugs in class today. They are so cute. They do not like baking soda.

I had to dig deep, deep for those 3 ‘positive’ notes.
